Marae Visit














Today we went to the Orakei Marae.
What a fantastic time we had .
We looked at the kowhaiwhai patterns on the ceiling, the tukutuku woven panels and the whaikairo carvings.
Mrs Cooper also felt very lucky to have the beautiful cape put on her. This cape took 12 months to make due to all the weaving involved.
